Alessio L.R. Pennasilico aka mayhem
Alessio L.R. Pennasilico, known in the hacker underground as -=mayhem=-, is Senior Partner at P4I – Digital360 Advisory and is internationally recognised as an expert in information security management and emerging technologies.
He develops projects that reduce the impact of cyber risk on the business of companies across many industries. His projects take into account compliance requirements (e.g. GDPR, NIS2, CRA), evolving processes and the introduction of new technologies (e.g. AI, OT/IoT). Thanks to his skills and his ethical hacker background, many organisations appoint him as their external CISO or CSIRT contact.
Pennasilico is also a member of the Scientific Committee of Clusit and an author of its report, a member of the Board of AIP – Associazione Informatici Professionisti, Senior Advisor to the Cybersecurity & Data Protection Observatory of Politecnico di Milano, TEDx Speaker, and a member of the Core Faculty of Sole 24 Ore Business School.
A natural communicator, for years he has been training staff, C-level executives and boards, speaking at the main national and international cybersecurity events and giving interviews to newspapers, radio and TV.

Privacy notice

- What we collect and why: your name, email and the text of your message (plus organisation and date, if you give them), only to reply to you. Your IP address is not stored: we keep a non-reversible fingerprint of it, which changes every month, to limit abuse. Server logs keep the truncated IP for 7 days.
- How we protect it: the message is encrypted so that not even the website can read it back; HTTPS connection; no cookies, no analytics tools, no resources loaded from third-party services.
- Where: on an OVHcloud server in Canada, a country for which the European Commission has adopted an adequacy decision.
- Artificial intelligence: the message is read and sorted by an AI-based assistant (Claude, by Anthropic), which therefore receives your name, email and text. Anthropic acts as an independent controller (for the European Economic Area, Anthropic Ireland, Limited; transfers to the United States may take place under the standard contractual clauses) according to its privacy policy. The reply is always checked and sent by a person. If you prefer that your message does not go through the assistant, choose “One person only”: only Alessio will read it.
- For how long: 1 year, then the message is deleted automatically.
- Your rights: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection: write to the address above. You may lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali) or with the authority of your own country.
